Vysočina Arena

In winter, depending on current snow and weather conditions, a series of cross-country ski loops is prepared. The entire venue and its trails are equipped with an extensive network for technical snowmaking. When natural snow conditions are ideal, the arena connects directly to the groomed winter tourist trails of the Novoměstsko ski region.

Vysočina Arena is a National Sports Centre primarily designed for hosting sporting events and, thanks to its layout, provides ideal conditions for year-round training in cross-country skiing and biathlon. The surrounding area is interlaced with a network of singletracks for mountain biking.

In summer, the roller-ski track with direct access to the shooting range, including a penalty loop, and the asphalt stadium offer excellent conditions for roller-ski training for both skiing and biathlon. The oval loop in the stadium measures 415 m and is often used for speed-skating training. The roller-ski network offers five loops of various lengths, ranging from 1.1 km to the longest loop of 3.3 km. The total length of all loops is 8.5 km, providing a variety of difficulty levels.
