Yaliotnau and first gold for Belarusia in Junior’s Sprint

Raman Yaliotnau of Belarusia (born in 1993) has won junior men’s sprint in Open European Championships and gave Belarusia a gold medal! Raman had 2 shooting errors but was the fastest on track and that was enough t give him the victory. 

Behind him has finished Adam Vaclavic of Czech Rep who had 1 error only and enough speed to celebrate silver medal in front of his home crowd! Bronze medal was taken by Maikol Demetz of Italy who was the only one in both races today scoring a 100% in shooting!!

 

The other 3 in top 6 were:  Artem Tyshchenko of Ukraine who had 2 errors and lost the medal in the last 1400 m by Demetz! He had finished 4th 1.1″ behind the Italian.

 

Alexander Povarnitsyn of Russia who had 3 errors and with an amazing effort in last lap has managed top 6 by finishing 5th.

 

Aliaksandr Marchanka of Belarusia who had 3 errors and has finished 6th.
