Tsvetkov takes gold, finally

Maxim Tsvetkov with a fantastic 95% in shooting has cruised to victory in men’s pursuit of European Championships at Nove Mesto. tside the extended podium.

His only rival Lars Hegel Birkeland lost 3 targets in last standing position (in total has lost 5!!) and gave a tight fight for the silver medal with Anton Babikov of Russia who had 3 errors and has started last lap 11″ behind him. At the finish line Birkeland has kept his silver medal by only 3″ over to Babikov.

4th has finished Benedikt Doll of Germany with 4 errors and less than 2″ behind Babikov. 5th has finished Timofey Lapshin with 6 errors and 6th Quentin Fillion Maillet of France with 5 errors.

As isolated pursuit time performance Tsvetkov was again the best with Babikov 2nd and Ivan Zlatev of Bulgaria who had started 39th and has finished 12th! 3rd. Scott Gow of Canada was the next in performance who had started 22nd and has finished 7th just 2.4″ outside the extended podium.
